I bought this on a whim because my Aux port on my car broke. I picked this up and noticed it charges AND plays music through my radio. I love it. Sometimes I hear a bit of static but most of the time I forget it's being transmitted through the radio. I love that you can skip, pause, and play my iPod through the transmitter. My skip button is wonky on my iPod so this makes it smooth to control these function instead on the iTrip. I got it on clearance and it was worth every penny.

If you always keep in mind that this movie came out in the mid 80s, you'll enjoy it immensely. My kids would probably hate it because the effects don't stand up to today's standards and some of the creatures are clearly people in costumes but it was actually really fun to watch. It definitely has what most movies lack these days...character development. You really get to like the characters and care what happens to them. It's a fun story and has just the right amount of darkness to make it interesting. The sound and picture of this Blu-ray is actually pretty good, still keeping in mind the decade this movie was made. The picture was a bit grainy in parts but still very clear. The sound was pretty good too. The music sounded fantastic while sound effects and dialogue were a bit lacking. Of course, the music was created by the director, John Carpenter, so maybe he put more love in making the soundtrack sound great for Blu-ray. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience watching this great 80s classic.

I have three TV's with DVR boxes; would I need another, or can I plug directly into cable?
My son does not have a DVR. He just plugged the cable directly into the back of the TV and did a cable channel search and it found all the cable channels we have.

Does it charge your phone
We have iPhone 4's but we just need to know if the thing will charge the phone as well...
I own an iPhone 4S and it charges it like a champ.
