MD-HPBTO1 won't turn off, or get in pairing mode

For a couple of days, the wireless earphones worked beautifully paired with my phone. Then I couldn't turn the earphones off. I'd press and hold the power/talk button, and nothing would happen (except the light shines blue when I'm holding the button down). When I charge the earphones, the solid blue light appears. When not charging, the blue light simply blinks every 5 seconds, but my phone will no longer pair with it.
delete the pairing from your phone and go through the setup process.
