Great little Bluetooth speaker...and more

I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker to replace the $299 one that just pooped out after 4 years. But...I wasn't ready to spend that type of money at this time. So, I started to look at less expensive options.
I did some research and was drawn to this little speaker from Insignia, the Best Buy "house" brand. I've had other Insignia products in the past and figured it would be worth a try, especially at this price point.
I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this unit was a pretty good speaker, a good value AND, as a bonus, a good battery charger for my phone.
It doesn't fill a room with booming bass like my old Jambox speaker did, but it does fit in my backpack nicely when I go out and has come in handy when travelling as well.
Now all I need to do is to remember to pack the little USB cable when I take it out!

Long cable - large price

My last charging cable broke when I was travelling (one of the lightning cables tips snapped off), so I needed a new one -NOW!!
When I recharge my iPad, I need the ability to pick up the device without disconnecting the cable.
With a 10 foot cable, I am able to do so - with ease.
What I don't understand is why this cable cost me $30.
Since then, I've ordered less expensive cables elsewhere.

Lots of power in a small package

My last charger lasted for about 2 years and finally pooped out. I was travelling and needed a new device, so I headed to Best Buy.
There were numerous choices on display and I found this one to fit my needs. I travel with a Galaxy S7 and an iPad. With over 1000mAh, I can keep up with my charging needs all day long.
The only downside with this device is the need to carry two charging cables for phone and iPad. (All of the other ones I've owned have had built in cables.)

My "Home Theater" system was put together about 5 years ago and required 5 different remotes to operate all of the features. This Universal Remote came with easy instructions and I can now make everything run with one device. The most difficult part was finding the model numbers for each unit that needed to be programmed into the new remote. My wife and I now love the ease with which we can enjoy the system. Thank you, Logitech and Best Buy.
