Connectors were very easy to attach. Hoses seem strong, but flexible enough to pack nicely behind washer. I've only been using for a couple weeks, so I can't speak for their durability. Time will tell if these end up being worth the additional cost compared to rubber hoses.

Not sure quite what to say about standard AA batteries. They fit in devices that require AA and supply current to make the devices run. That's about all I ask. Haven't been using them long enough to truly judge their durability, but I definitely haven't noticed any issues so far.
