while this is a very well built controller with nice heft, you can only program the paddles to be face buttons or triggers on the controller. You can't assign macros or key combos or turbo anything like that. If this functionality ever comes, this is a must buy. Otherwise, skip it. It's just a heavier controller.

the multiplayer issues have gotten a lot of attention, and the problems are improving, but still not fixed. read more about it elsewhere.
replaying the campaigns has been fun. most of the movies were rerendered and some of the textures and stuff do look better. so if you missed these the first time around, you can play them all in one fell swoop now!

i bought the box set because it was cheaper than buying only Alien on bluray. this was cleaned up nicely. as a bonus, i also get a cleaned up Aliens, which i think is the better of the two movies, as well as 2 aliens related beer coasters, because lets face it: 3 and 4 were utter garbage.

i loved the original total recall: i have it on vhs, dvd, dvd in the mars collectors tin, and now this. and i have to say, i really enjoyed watching this. there are some things i think the original did better, and some things that i think this did better. overall, CF is no arnold, but this is enjoyable none the less.

this isnt really a prequel/sequel of Appleseed so much as its a retelling of most of the same events. if youve never seen the original, give this a shot. if you have seen the original, or the 2004-not-remake, you can safely ignore this.

This movie really exemplifies how a 3d movie should look and feel. as the character whip around on dragons, and there are explosions, and bursts of fire, i really felt like i was in the theater, watching this. i definitely plan to rebuy the sequel in 3d now that i see how good this one was.

Does it have an IR blaster connections n if it blocks the sensor of the tv remote? My panasonic sound bar has one

it doesnt. if your tv can control the soundbar itself, then you are good. this has a very small IR receiver on the left, next to the volume indicator which, frankly, sucks. you need a clear, straight line for it to work. my tv can control it with an IR passthrough, so i just use that.

What is the combine total wattage for these speakers?
I've connected mine to a killowatt, and the max I've seen on the sub is 30w, and 15w for the sound bar.

how many watts is the sub?
I connected mine to a killowatt meter, and at 50%, the sub only uses about 20 watts. The sound output is actually quite impressive.

Additional Hookups in addtion to TV.
I have a DVD player and a Cable DVR that I want to hookup to this sound bar. It seems the input are limited. How does the Cable DVR and DVD hookup to allow the sound bar to project the sound ? I'm not getting the concept. Do all components need to be hooked to the bar ? Right now everything it hooked to TV via HDMI and I just change the input on the TV.
I'm an older gent, and I appreciate any info you can provide. Not a real tech person. Thanks in advance...

Since everything is hooked into the TV, use the TVs audio out and connect those to the sound bar input. I use a similar setup with my ps3 and xbox. They connect to the TV by HDMI, and then I use the TVs optical out to the sound bar. Also, in case you didn't know, you select which of the inputs on the sound bar you want to use. You can only have one input selected at a time.

It plugs into the wall for power. I own two of these.
