OK, I looked at a load of reviews, checked out cameras installed by friends, and this one seemed to be the most versatile. The app on my phone is simple to use. It was very easy to configure, and there are more features to access if you log-in using a desktop computer (to configure the zones in the picture - movement in a designated part of the picture will trigger an alert to my phone). Also, you can record in 1080p, 720p or standard definition. Just remember, 1080p recording will require a pretty high broadband connection.

Perfect non-motorized, sturdy screen

Given the small budget, I saw no need for a motorized screen. We keep this screen down all the time in the basement anyway. The price was right and it is a HUGE 105 inch screen for about $90 (I think). We have used it for about 2 months now and it is fine. The construction is very sturdy - well made. The screen has black around the edges so the picture edges are sharp. It is a good reflective screen. Also, it was easy to install with the hangers that came with the screen. I thought I would need help, but I actually did it on my own. I appreciate the dual way to hang it (on wall or from the ceiling).

OK, this unit got great reviews on other websites like Sound and Vision. It is a full 1080p projector that works with all my existing equipment. It was easy to mount and we get a great picture on a 105 inch screen (really just use about 100 inches. No problems at all. Set-up took me about 30 minutes to dial-in the focus, width and the other settings that allow an off-set (kind of a parallelogram) to the image is a proper rectangle with 90 degree corners! I got it on sale at BestBuy for $700 ($150 off) so that was an excellent deal.

I needed a battery backup for a work computer and this was the right price. I don't need a huge battery with 45 to 60 minutes of run-time. Just enough to finish and save what I am doing if the power goes out. For the price, this is just right!
