Pretty good for the money

I wouldn't say this speaker has excellent sound, I think you would have to spend a lot of more money to get excellent sound. But for the money I think this was an great buy. It sounds very good, and compared to my laptop speakers, it's a hundred times better. Also the blutooth works fine. I'll put it in my bathroom with my laptop a couple of rooms away and I have no problems. The sub woofers also really help make a rich sound. Easily recommended for this price, I doubt you'll find something better in this price range.

It says you can integrate optional surround speakers with this soundbar? Wouldn’t you need to buy a 5.1 system to make this work? Or does this have capability to separate the channels and you can add speakers as you go? I purchased the LG OLED65C7P
It will still play if your television is set to use surround, but to get the full effect of 5.1 you would need to buy a LG set of rear speakers. I bought this from Best Buy:

After a few days, I felt I needed the rear speakers, and the sound bar wasn't enough. The rear channel speakers are easy to install. Plug them in and your sound bar will instantly recognize them.

Can I use existing speakers wires in my walls and connect via junction box to the the wires in the LG box to power them?
I would say yes (unless they are very large in diameter), as the wires are just a conduit. They use the standard THIN speaker wires. They are the exact same as my last two or three rear channel speakers that I have owned, so I see no reason this product differs from the previous rear channel speaker system you owned.

Can you mount this (on a boat, etc)?
There is no mount, and add to the fact that it is round, so you would have to place it in a niche somewhere to keep it from rolling around in a boat. One thing of note: The rope/string that is attached to the speaker could be tied to something in the boat that would keep it held. I think that would work fine. But no mount is included.
