I got this mostly for the big screen, and so I can get my remote control desktops to match on the tablet. It works well for that. I use open VPN for work and the included remote pc account for my home computer. In meetings at work I use the local wireless lan connection. I use the Logitech keyboard. I haven't decided which of several remote desktops is best yet. It seems to be plenty fast. I haven't added memory yet. I use Dolphin browser for flash video web site compatibility.

does the tab pro 12.2 have a usb port
It has one port. It has an adapter for USB you have to buy. It can also plug in a HDMI adapter. I suspect some USB might plug into half the connector but have never tried it yet.
