Definitely a fun game. Take the huge amount of enemies and open environment setting of Dead Rising 3 and combine it with quick movement controls of the old Tony Hawk games and you get Subset Overdrive. I'd say it takes the best of those games and the new mix mash it presents is surprisingly fun and even though you may have seen the parts of the game mechanics scattered through out different games, the way they put it all together here just feels new and fresh. I honestly wouldn't suggest buying an XB1 just for this game but if you already own an XB1, I'd say you'd have to at least give it a try. Hopefully XBox continues to come with cool titles like this. FYI - for parents, the game has and option to censor out language and gore and this game definitely has a lot of language. I really appreciated the language option as I was playing it with my nephew and the first F-bomb would have dropped in the in 1st 10 min. Kudos to the developers as when you start the game and adjust your brightness setting, it shows you the language and gore option right away. I wish more developers would give this option as it makes the whole experience more family friendly as well as being adult for those who want to play it that way.
