I've had this watch for about two months, and was very skeptical about it. I thought I'd have a hard time keeping it clean and without scratches, but it's been clean and I haven't gotten a single scratch on it. It's pretty resistent to most surfaces, but banging it against a wall would most definitely crack the screen. You'd be better off putting a case or a screen protector to keep it looking good. I would have preferred the nylon band, but this one is good. No complaints.
