Formats supported/Not supported?
I'm not real knowledgeable as far as the formats of files that can be played on these discs, but can it pretty much play everything from regular movies you rent, on up to home movies made on discs? Can you view photos you've put on them, music & home videos? Maybe the better question should be, what doesn't it play/support? Thanks for your help in advance!
Blu-ray is the only thing I've found it doesn't play so far.

how does SD card and device interact?
If I install a SD card into my tab pro 8.4 what happens? Do I need to prompt any actions? How does the device (tablet) know what to store on the SD card instead of the internal storage?
You will no doubt have to format the SD card with the device, but once done you should be able to do "save as" and direct the file to the SD card instead of the internal storage area.
