Somewhat Flaky on storage

While PNY normally has decent USB storage products, this one is not one of them. This device quit allowing me to store past 25GB on it after several load/wipes. I had a second one that also exhibited the same limitations. It's no wonder that they were on clearance.

I've used ZAGG shield products for years on my iPods & cell phones and loved their protection properties. The shields for tablets are a bit more difficult to install being they have larger screens. The picture based instructions just do not make it very clear what you are supposed to do for installation. It was only after I went to their website and viewed the install video I was able to get the thing installed.
I've seen other company's shields with much better installation processes but once installed, the ZAGG is hard to beat in terms of clarity and protection.

I got this mouse for a 19 year old nephew who wanted something other than the laptop trackpad. He loves it. It works great, has a tough build quality and was very easy to set up on Windows 7. The battery life is great and it helps that the mouse has a on/off switch that is somewhat recessed so that it cannot accidentally get turned on/off.
For users a bit older or with large hands, this mouse may be a bit on the teeny side but I still found that it was easy to control and move.
This is a great beginner mouse for young ones for the price!

Overpriced poor quality internet camera

With so many wireless camera's out there on the market very few allow you to save the video to your local system. Most require you to subscribe to their proprietary cloud service to store and save video. So when I saw this camera would allow you to save video to your computer/phone I gave it a try.
Setup was easy and the software installed just fine. When I turned the camera on and started seeing the video is when the disappointment began. The video quality was horrible for purportedly being "HD." The frame rate is decent UNTIL you start recording. Then the rate drops down to where it seems like you are flipping through a picture book. Incredibly laggy and stuttering. As soon as the recording is stopped the frame rate goes back to being relatively smooth.
This camera is WAAAAY too pricey for the kind of quality you get. It is not worth the money in the slightest. STAY AWAY.

I've had remote controlled sockets before but none that could be controlled from your phone. I picked up the WeMo switch and gave it a try. It can control anything plugged into it. The setup is quick and easy and downloading the app from the Play Store was a snap. The app is very basic and lets you turn on/off the switch or set rules in order to schedule the days/times and length you want the switch to turn on. It all works well enough.
The main issue with the product is that because it is connected to the internet, there is the potential for hackers to access the device. Already there has been news of WeMo vulneratbilites.
All in all, it's a nice little gizmo that is priced slightly high and has a gaping security hole. So buyer be aware and don't use it to control stuff that are important until the security of the device is beefed up.
