I haven't done a controlled rest of these, but they seem to do what batteries should and last a reasonable time. So far I have mainly used them in low-drain devices. I bought them for the price, which was outstanding.

Many of these accidents could have been completely avoided just by wearing simple high visibility accessories, such as a pair Insignia Running Lights. Insignia 2-Pack Running Light were designed for getting the attention of motorists at a safe distance. It offers the perfect amount of light to keep you seen anywhere.

OK at a closeout price

I have owned several inexpensive flashing safety lights, and the big advantage these ones have is the design of the plastic clips. Unlike the flimsy integrated clips on most other lights, these ones have sturdy clips that actually rotate on the body of the light and can reliably clip onto even a fairly thick item (i.e. thick winter coat). These also seem to be more realistically water-resistant than others I have owned.
The downsides: 1) As many others have noted, these are fairly dim, and unlike a lot of other lights there is only one flashing pattern (the other two settings are different intensities of "always-on." I highly doubt anyone could make use of the lower setting, so why bother?). 2) the lights use button cell batteries when it seems they could have accommodated AAAs with minor redesign. 3) the light bodies literally need to be unscrewed - FOUR tiny screws removed - to change the batteries. And if you're giving this any significant amount of use, those button batteries are not going to last long!
Overall, the clip design is enough for me to be satisfied for occasional use, but I would be disappointed had I paid regular price.

Silly but entertaining film on substandard Blu-Ray

Despite its serious subject matter, this is kind of a silly movie. A lot of the dialogue is awful, and people make a lot of laughably irrational decisions, but I suppose that happens in real life as well. Still, there is a lot of entertainment to be had here. Unfortunately, the film's transfer to Blu-Ray leaves much to be desired, with generally soft images and colors that are rarely as vivid as they should be, stopping far short of the format's full potential. The audio, with a realistic and satisfying mix, is more satisfying than the video on this one.
Can you tell I'm a bit conflicted? Overall, like many bargain bin back-catalog Blu-Ray titles, this is not a terrible purchase for the low price I paid.

Excellent movie, great presentation

Fargo is one of my most beloved films, and when I acquired a 60-inch TV it was immediately apparent that the original Blu-Ray of the movie would not do it justice. I read reviews of this remastered edition which promised a better color balance and tamer film grain. And it is true: Whereas the grain was coarse and shimmering to the point of distraction on the original Blu-Ray transfer, the remastered version's grain is much finer while still contributing to the movie's authenticity. The colors are indeed more natural. The print itself has apparently also been cleaned up. The snowy opening scene was a mess in the original Blu-Ray, with fluctuating color, vertical banding suggesting film damage, and some errant residue having somehow entered the frame. These issues are no longer.
For fans of the movie, this disc is an essential and affordable upgrade from the original Blu-Ray, or even more so from the DVD.

Off to a good re-start

In many ways a rehash of A New Hope, The Force Awakens is nevertheless a lot of fun, having invigorated the franchise with a more diverse cast, modern special effects, and an eye to a new generation. As evidenced by the prequel trilogy, there is a lot that could have gone wrong here and didn't. The Force Awakens leaves us wanting more, and in a good way.

Good basic camera bag

I purchased this as it seemed a popular choice for my Sony Handycam CX405 camcorder. It is not a great choice for this device, in my opinion, as it leaves a lot of excess space and room for movement inside - but that really is no fault of the bag. It is well-made and I think will last a long time. It includes just enough outside storage space for a couple of cables and memory cards. Inside there is a sleeve for a detachable (with velcro) sleeve for storage of cables or flat items behind it. The top/lid is a little strange, though, since it zips around three sides but also has a seemingly redundant strap and clasp on the front, and the front of the lid is awkward to lift up to access the zipper. It also seems as though there should be storage space inside of the lid but there is none.
Despite the awkward lid, overall this would be a good camera bag if the internal dimensions fit your equipment well.

Not bad for the price

This is good enough for casual use, which is what most people have probably purchased it for. The device feels a bit cheap, but I think this is mainly due to its light weight, which can also be seen as a benefit. The menu system and manner of accessing it seems clunky and outdated, but once you get used to it it works alright. The video quality is average, better in good light. The stereo audio is very good. I have not yet taken advantage of all of the features, and I cannot yet vouch for long-term durability, but generally I think this recorder will meet my needs.
