Looked at all similar units on the rack at Best Buy. This one was by far the best one. It has spring-loaded grips that secure it to the vent grill. It also has a locking ball joint so you can swivel the phone to the desired viewing angle. Finally, it comes with a suction mount if that'a the way you roll.

This unit is a great example of an epic fail. The idea of a mobile HD radio is good. However, the function button layout and lame, limited character digital display make this a poor choice in today,s market. I returned this model and traded it for the less compact larger (also portable) Insignia model.

can you switch between HD1, HD2 and HD3?
A radio station I want to listen to is currently on HD2, the problem is on the same station dial number there are also 2 other stations on HD1 and HD3 when I tune into this station I get the radio station that is on HD1 how do I listen to my station on HD2?
You use the tune button to sequentially tune to the frequency's HD1, HD2 and HD3 channels. Stop on the one you want. Then, press the memory botton on the far left and hold it briefly. This will assign that HD# channel to the next available preset. From then on, you can simply tap the HD preset rocker button yo auto-jump to that specific HD channel.
