Spotlight is the best movie of 2015 by a landslide. The filmmakers managed to tell a sensitive story with force, intelligence, and just enough humor to keep it from being too much to take. Performances are stellar across the board. Just see it.

The music here is always at least as good as the lyrics. Well produced and certainly a high watermark for me in the West catalogue. Then again, I'm someone who loves Blood on the Tracks so this one is more my speed than the College Dropout era albums.

After listening to an album like Red, 1989 falls flat for me. There are certainly a lot of good hooks on this album, but after a few listens it all runs together. She is certainly a good writer, I just wish the music was a little more varied. It's the straight on pop album she's been trying to make and it succeeds at completely shifting styles, but Red was great because it bounced around and had so many flavors mixed together.

While I wouldn't call this excellent, it's pretty darn close. Bruno Mars has a voice that can do almost anything and shows off quite a bit of range. Multiple styles and moods throughout this album. It's really just a lot of fun too. Worth picking up since it was in the $5 area too!

It certainly feels dated not too far in, but this is still a great romantic comedy. Like other movies that come from a Richard Curtis script, it finds ways to put some depressing elements into a seemingly upbeat script. Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant are perfectly charming and well cast here.

How can I transfer my Vinyl Record collection to USB Flash Drive ?
As far as I know, there are only record players that have a USB drive built in for this purpose. There shouldn't be another way of accomplishing this that I am aware of. Hope this helps. Googling might help to find a player that does this.
