This is the third pair of Beats that I purchased and returned. I've had two instances of the Beats not powering up or recharging. For the third pair, after perhaps 10 hours of listening, a recurring clicking sound in the background developed. As I recall, the Best Buy customer service desk thought that a "driver" may have gone out.
