It was definitely a pretty movie, in terms of special effects and whatnot. Morgan Freeman felt a little weak and kinda expected more from him. The concept and ultimate realization of what was going on was alright as well.

J.K. Simmons is incredibly intense, playing as the jazz teacher Terence Fletcher, and it's almost terrifying how angry and furious he can get. IF you can handle the intensity, Whiplash makes for an amazing movie deserving of its many awards and award nominations.

Surprisingly awesome time-travel movie

I'm not a huge fan of Tom Cruise movies, but my friend showed me this movie and I loved it. It's got a ton of humor and the Groundhogs Day-esque premise makes it pretty unique among sci-fi movies and I can't recommend this more.
