At 40" you can't really tell the difference but there is virtually no back light bleed and the colors are amazing once the set is calibrated.

Better than the theatrical version

The ultimate edition of the movie has a few extra scenes that I feel made the story a little more coherent. If you didn't care for the theatrical verison of the movie, the extra scenes won't change your mind but this is the edition that should have been released in theaters.
