For the price I expected better quality. Assembly process annoyed the h-e-l-l out of me because many of the cam locks broke. Longterm stability is now a major concern. The bolt has to be set just right. They do not provide enough wood glue, by far. The rear access panel attaches nice and decent nails are provided but they should focus on more important aspects like providing an ample amount of the inexpensive wood glue or making sure dowel holes are not too deep. A couple dowel holes were too shallow and they ended up piecing a panel. Luckily the damage isn't visible. Looks nice but I wish I spent more money for a real piece of furniture. I'd be even more bitter if I didn't get a $75.00 discount due to the store not having it in stock when it was supposed to be.

Could I use this on ALL my tile, hardwood, plus clean my carpets???
Not to sound stupid, but being at sea for years, I am not clear on today's products. Last I knew, you had to purchase 2 different entities as far as machines go. I don't want to purchase yet another flop, and I don't want to spend a fortune, especially while I am in a rental home. I am looking for something that I can use on all floors. I could work on the kitchen tile and take it to the bedroom where there is carpeting without having to change out machines and go through a big process. Until I am able to find the machine of the future to vacuum and steam my tile, go into the bedrooms to do the vaccuum, as well as have the machine determine the stain, decide on it's own what it is and already have the right solution to get it out, I won't know what to purchase! Lol! In the meantime, like I said, I'm not aware of what these machines are capable of. Could someone please let me know if I'm on the right track and if I'm not, please direct me on the machine that will fit my needs? Ocean girl needs help!!! Thanks for any help I can get!

Why does the picture of this item differ from the picture on the Hoover website. Both sites state that the model # is F7452-900.
I recently purchased this machine because my older version finally got to the point that it was too much of a hassle to fix. I put my old machine to the test. It hasn't changed much in the last 8 yrs. "If it ain't broke then don't fix it!" If you are looking at the same model # then the only difference is the pretty colors. This is the best homeowner (non-commercial) machine available, and with a fair price tag.
