I bought this on black Friday because it was 50% off and was decently impressed with the picture. However the modem on this is not the best. I have appletv, cable box, and a surround sound all connected to through the same modem and this sony is the only one that has lag. so i wouldn't really call it a "smart player". The picture and sound as a 4k player in itself are great. Just not happy with the modem.

too good to be true

I was a little hesitant to get these as i have a been a huge fan of klipsch and not sure i wanted to save up until i could afford a pair. These however were on sale for 69.99 a pair!! so i got 3 pair for satellites in my 7.1 surround sound i have a for my 300sq ft living room. Let me tell you something... these do not disappoint. They are perfect for highs and never peak out even at high volumes. they do lack a bit of medium and have no bass what so ever, but if you have a decent center speaker and sub you should be good to go. especially for the price you can not go wrong!!

I will admit I have some friends that disagree with me on this one, but i like this movie.The story line is good, the effects are great and the sound engineer did a fabulous job with inserting all sounds where they should be. If you have a surround sound system (not sound bar) you will get to reap the benefits.
