Better than most prequels!

Sometimes when a "franchise" movie moves past the third installment, one of two things usually happen. Main characters, whom were killed off during the first films, have a chance to be broadened or story lines get to be expanded upon, thereby widening the emotional connection the viewer has with that character or characters. But most times the overall writing suffers badly, usually giving up personal connections for extended violence and destruction. This movie did a very good job in handling all of those points and the actors chosen to play "younger" versions of established characters did an amazing job with the task at hand.

Since I was blown-away by the 3D effects in Spiderman #1, I was only worried about a good story line for the second. My worries were unfounded. A second solid story with continued good acting and filming. I'm now looking forward to #3 ... of course in 3D.

Levitt and Wills shine.

I am a huge Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Wills fan, so when I heard they had made a movie together, I was right there. And the two, as usual, didn't disappoint. The story line for this movie is so good, mixing several genres and filming styles. Levitt did an amazing acting job in this and I will not spoil it for anyone who plans to see it ... it's just mind blowing.

I really liked the Spiderman movies with Toby McGuire, so I was not expecting too much out of this new version. But I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the 3D amazing, but the story was well thought out and presented in a manner that truly pull at your heart. I still like the first version, but this one stands on it's own as an equal alternative.

Do these cases have the clear plastic film to hold the disc art OUTSIDE?
I've purchased others, and although they had clips inside the case, there was no clear membrane on the outside of the case (front to back, including the spine) to trap/hold art and title cards, etc.
Yes ... these Dynex blu-ray cases have both the clear plastic film to hold the paper art work covers and they have the clips inside to hold any other paper information you would like included in your cases.

What is the spine width? 11mm? 12mm?
I don't have a "mm" ruler ... but these cases are exactly the same size as single blu-ray cases that come standard on those purchases. That is why I purchased these, because I wanted to add some of the older matching title DVDs to the blu-ray versions I've made lately. I have some blu-rays that have 3D covers and some that have "collectable" poster board covers and I didn't want "larger" replacement boxes that won't fit into those special covers. These were perfect.
