This purchase was necessary because the ITCDS-5000 (the one without the turntable) that I had purchased from a different place had some issues (didn't read the reviews). Since the build of that model, Innovative Technology has ungraded the main unit and added the turntable (nice!). I recommend purchasing a nicer pair of speakers, these are fine, but it really is too much power for them and it sounds so much better with the Polk Audio speakers I purchased for it. The factory speakers look 3-way, but indeed are not (the midrange 'speaker' is a plastic insert made to 'look' like a speaker) and the 4" woofer just isn't enough
