Is it possible to purchase additional adhesive disks without the metal mount?

I ordered extra mounts from Garmin. But l haven’t found any disk separate for the mounts. Its about $9.00.

Does this work at night? Is a optional camera available? If so, what is the model number?

Works at night. Other cams I’ve looked at were the 55, 65. If this one doesn’t work out to my liking, I’ll try the 65 next.

How feasible would it be to place the rear camera up-front, positioned inwards, to record the interior of the vehicle? Would it be noticeable? Is there a way to program the phone app to automatically connect & sync video feeds to an online cloud?

Yes its noticeable.It’s pretty small, but I think it will be hard to find. Has a free app , but not that useful as for phone to cam controls. You still have to physically touch the cam.

Can this camera be mounted on the dash ? I do not like anything mounted on the windshield. This camera will be going into a unit regulated by US DOT.

Best answer

Yes, it comes with a adhesive magnetic pad. It adheres to dash or windshield. For quick easy mounting. But I think the image will be inverted.
