We use it for Our iPhones. We have 5-6plus and it works on all of them.

it looks like the powerpacks re-charge via usb, not electrical outlet. are there any that do both?
Need one for a samsung 5, preferably electrical and or usb options for recharging the powerpack.
You plug the usb in to an electrical plug adaptor. You can recharge either way.
