Great Accessory (a must have for me)

I think it ingenious that Apple created another port through which peripherals can be connected. Having this Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter allowed me to free up 1 of only 2 USB ports I had. This also works on the MacBook Air (pre-2015, of course). Great investment and a must have for me.

Great new retina screen but that's about it ...

I had a hard time justifying the cost of this product so I ended up returning mine.
PROS:
- Great new retina screen
- Great typing experience (for me) on the keyboard
- New pressure sensitive trackpad shows promise (although today there aren't many applications that take advantage of this feature yet)
- The Intel M chip certainly delivers on its promise to keep the processing running cool

CONS:
- VERY Pricey
- Intel M chip not as powerful as Core i (that's the trade off for the cool)

- No ports whatsoever (comes only with the USB Type C port; hubs and other extension peripherals still have yet to make it to the market)
To sum it up:
At this price point, I'd be much better served with a Microsoft Surface Pro 3. To me, the new MacBook (2015) is simply an iPad with a keyboard minus the touchscreen and broadband access (i.e. LTE/mobile data connection). Perhaps if Apple had figured out a way to keep the touchscreen and baked a broadband card into the MacBook 2015, then maybe I could justify the cost, but with the specs as-is I think this costs WAY TOO MUCH.

I love the fact that it is backlit and relatively comfortable to type on this keyboard. The one I purchased, however, did not have the tab to store/hold the stylus, which was al little disappointing; and given that this feature is actually pictured on the device, it is a little misleading. Also, I read on other reviews that the trackpad sometimes has issues; although, I have yet to encounter any issues with the trackpad on my cover. (Worth noting that the issues were mentioned in an earlier release of Windows 8 about a year or so ago; by the now, the issues may have been resolved.)
Bottom line: 5* (stars) and highly recommended. In fact, I would even go so far as to say this is a MUST HAVE accessory.

I'm glad Microsoft decided to spruce up their stylus offerings for the Surface Pro tablet series. This Wacom-based stylus actually works for any Wacom-based digital inking enabled device. I know, based on my experience, that it works with my Vaio Duo Windows tablet/hybrid (the only thing that doesn't work is the launch OneNote by pressing the pen button). This is a great companion to any Surface Pro.

Love the superb noise canceling capabilities. Had to purchase a separate in line mic and controller to work with my Android devices. Other than that, well worth the price tag. Very confortable to wear for extended periods of time. I use it study in my very noisy and busy home office with kids playing in the background.
