One of my FAVORITE SEASONS!

Easily one of my favorite seasons of the show!
Love love love the way they used the island time travel to actually show how people in the past ended up on the island BEFORE the plane crash. The arrival of the Black Rock, Rousseau, Widdemore being an "other", the rest of the giant "Foot" statue...just awesome.
STILL waiting for Henry Gale's smiley faced balloon though (hope they get that in there for the final season in Feb).
What's great about it: More interesting episodes, finally answering BIG questions, JACOB!!!
What's not so great: nothing

Ted Crisp leads an eccentric team of scientists as they head of research and development for Veridian Dynamics. Among their endeavors include cowless meat, killer pumpkins, pleasing the boss, and staying on the side of good in a company than can run low on conscience.

Hysterical!!! Finally, a FUNNY spoof movie!

A great spoof on all the dance flicks...not just in the last decade, but even back to the 80's with Flashdance and Fame.
Most everyone will ASSUME that this movie is just another in a now long line of incredibly dumb and completely unfunny 'spoof' movies that've been coming out...but the others weren't done by the Wayans bros., and the difference shines through big time!
Of course its all incredibly absurd comedy, but its absurd comedy thats actually FUNNY!!
Definitely give this one a chance, especially if you dig dance movies...you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic Movie!! For those seeking the REAL roots
on September 20, 2009

LOVED this movie!!!
Finally, a new movie depicting the real Blues origins of rock 'n roll from the early '40's and '50's and the countless english and american guitarists and bands that it immediately inspired to copy it (i.e. Clapton, Led Zep, , Rolling Stones, & Elvis to name a few).
Well acted and paced, this is a great, fun, eye-opening history education on black music in a very segregated America...before it was co-opted by more 'acceptable-looking' musicians of the time who all went on to make HUGE international names for themselves ripping off these originators (Literally. I didn't know that 'Surfin' USA' by the Beach Boys was stolen note-for-note from Chuck Berry's "Sweet 16" before this film...and that he later sued them, and won :)
Jeffrey Wright is awesome as Muddy Waters...as well as Mos Def as Chuck Berry. Along with all the other amazing actors such as Adrian Brody, Cedric, and Beyonce, I'd definitely say that this movie is a 'must-see'!
I'l be picking up a copy myself this week!
What's great about it: Finally, a movie showing the REAL roots of rock 'n roll...who invented it and especially the famous acts that copied it!
What's not so great: Nothing

BEST Season of a GREAT show!!!

I've been watching this show since it first debuted on Showtime and its been one of my VERY favorites ever since then...never missed a beat.
With that said, its safe to say that,
from the very first episode to the last, Season 3 was by far the most gripping, the funniest (I love U-Turn and Doug too), the craziest and best story/ plot wise of any of the others (the others were also great, Season 3 just had a big edge :).
If you're going to buy any season of this show, this is it!
I just hope that the new Season 4 can keep this pace up! :)
What's great about it: All (Nancy's a fox!)
What's not so great: None

Steve Carell and Tina Fey are ~a match made in comedy heaven~ (Ben Lyons, E!) in this uproarious adventure about an ordinary couple in the right place...on the wrong night. Phil and Claire Foster are a sensible, suburban husband and wife slogging through their daily lives and marriage. But a case of mistaken identity sets off a n outrageous chain of events involving small-time thieves, big-city mobsters, corrupt cops and a crazed cabbie

very funny movie

We watched this movie at the theater the other night and laughed all the way through it. As soon as it comes out on DVD, we're getting it. It's well worth the money to be able to laugh your troubles away for almost 2 hours. Steve Carell is hilarious in this movie!!
