Man is it me or is the controller getting outrageously expensive? Anyways got it on sale for $47, student discount brought it down another $10. Great for about $35 but ridicously expensive at regular price. Wish it was in a different color for the same price. Controller works great, deduct a star for not having rechargeable batteries.

Most buy this speaker as a soundbar which is the purpose. I actually bought it mainly for bluetooth usage. Paid $30 for a speaker with remote, can't find anything close without spending a lot more. I use it mainly in my room, don't need it mobile as i have a portable one as well. The remote is a convenient feature, I don't need to get up and adjust the volume like other bluetooth speakers. Get it while it's still on sale!

No. Just plugs in audio and usb port. No battery required or used.

The website says the weight of these speakers is *8 lbs*...but they look small, so that confused me. Are they really 8 lbs in weight or 8 oz? Thanks much.
