Elder Scrolls Tamriel is a good game but it is takes a lot of time to get to upper levels. I wouldnt recommend this for kids. There are a lot of missions but many of them are quite boring. The fun is in large multiplayer, pvp wars, and playing online with friends.
I would recommend the Imperial version if you want race flexibilty....but only when you can get it on a good sale. I own the digital Imperial version for me and the disk version for my college age daughter.

I wouldn't buy an off brand controller. There's not much to say, it's the same controller that comes with the PS4. I'd like them to be a bit more durable. I have gone through a couple in a single year because the analogs lose their ability to register contact and the rubber wears off.
