With the technology available today I'm not terribly surprised to see this movie making another appearance on the shelf. What really makes me happy is the care taken to bring this amazing movie up to current moviewatcher's expectations. I will always remember the classic release but I will be just as glad to pop this in the blu-ray player and watch in the updated format. Great way to introduce new viewers to this classic story!

I recently upgraded this movie to blu-ray from my DVD original just because I really enjoyed the story line. I bought it for the picture and sound that the blu-ray content provides and the good price makes it worthwhile being only a few dollars more than the DVD.

I am not in the habit of spoilers or doing a review of the plot. Just see this movie. The blu-ray version of this movie is exactly what I've come to expect from this format. Great crisp picture and sound. Quite a value so pick this up over the DVD.

I have been looking forward to seeing this movie again after so long seeing it on cable here and there years back. Imagine my surprise seeing this on the shelf in blu-ray! I bought it and haven't regretted it. Blue Thunder gets the blu-ray treatment giving it great picture (considering the age of the movie) and a major improvement in sound. If you like Blue Thunder, and own a blu-ray player, this is a no-brainer buy.

This thing is an absolute pain to get both arms attached to the vent. Then it is a bigger pain to depress the button to release the phone from the grip. Prepare for swollen thumbs. Rotates well and holds the phone securely

Yes. There's a lot f focus on April as other reviews stated, and the turtles themselves take a bit to get used to looks wise. The story is decent but not groundbreaking. The 3D effects are not used to a point where it's worth more watching in this vs 2D.
A good movie. For new fans perhaps it's better but for those who grew up with the cartoons and the original ninja rap trilogy, it's just not the same .
