I buy these psn prepaid card to buy video games and to renew my ps+ membership which is $49.99 a year. Since I don't have a credit/debit card I use psn prepaid cards & there is no sales tax on buying both the card and stuff with the card on the psn store network.

Prepaid card better than using a credit/debit card

It's great for buying/renting digital movies , music, or video games, from the playstation store network. It's better than using a credit/debit card for 2 reasons. 1 - no need for personal information. 2 - no sales taxes on buying both prepaid card & buying stuff with the prepaid card in the PSN Store.
