A decent shooter

I played the demo for Wolfenstein a whole lot when the PS3 was my main console. Even though I've moved on to PS4, I specifically bought this so that I could finally play the full game.
It's a fun shooter, and the supernatural elements do spice up the gameplay. I was surprised to see that there were multiple factions, with fully fleshed out side missions for each. I hoped it would have been a bit more linear, as I wanted to complete it in less than a few days. Though, if it was something I played on release, I would have loved how much more gameplay the missions added.
Overall, the game has very satisfying shooting mechanics. The story is pretty forgettable, but it has it's cool moments. Multiplayer isn't worth it at all. Good for a short while.

Serviceable console

While the PS4 is my main console, the Xbox One is still a serviceable console. I really only use it for exclusives, since the ecosystem on Xbox doesn't feel as deep as PlayStation. But there are barely any flaws with the console.

Near-Perfect Gameplay, Flawed Story

The gameplay reminds me of Max Payne 3, which has some of the most satisfying shooting of any game. The driving has even improved greatly from GTA IV. However, the story is so overtly cynical in it's tone, that it's hard for me personally to like it. I felt the whole story mode was just 16 hours of 3 guys being angry about their situation without doing much to change it. Still, I love the game, and I love it on the gameplay alone.
