These stainless-steel washing machine fill hoses are ideal for connecting most washing machines to hot and cold water.

Great Washer for Price

I researched for weeks before anxiously deciding on a new washer. I chose this model because regardless of some negative reviews, I have used Whirlpool only and always been satisfied. I also don't believe everything I read- I'm not going to spend big bucks on the most popular brand with the highest rating because I'm sure even they have lemons too.
Anyway- the washer works great. The sounds are quite different but you get used to them after a week or so. The first few loads I tried various settings and temperatures and waited to see what happened- the clothes were so clean and lovely. I can still smell the detergent also- so I'm not sure why some people experience a problem with not being able to smell their detergent. I also use very subtly fragranced all natural HE detergent and there is plenty of fragrance to the clothes after washing.
If you need more water or are worried about the water level just choose the bulky item setting- it fills the machine mostly. I'm not sure why some people have complained that the washer can't be opened after starting a wash. You simply press the start button to pause the machine and the lid will unlock after a couple of seconds. You can open the machine at any time- although I haven't tried opening it while spinning.
The machine is quieter than a traditional machine, quieter than a laundromat front loader, but has different noises related to sensing and spinning. The water also doesn't just spray into the machine but comes on and off. This is normal and the clothes do get clean.
It washes delicates, old sneakers, rugs, handwashables, pt and kid stained items, towels, and everything else I've thrown into it just fine as well as comforters. However, I did have to wash my giant oversized comforter twice, but it barely fit in the machine. My comforter came out cleaner than had I taken it to the cleaners.
Be aware that this washer holds a lot of clothes. You're supposed to load the clothes around the bottom but I've noticed no cleaning difference when just throwing the clothes straight into the machine. The capacity is the same as my last washer with an agitator but it holds so much more. You will have to dry your clothes longer, possibly two drying cycles, if you fill the washer completely full of towels for example. I don't mind this because Ilive having less loads to wash.
It's great that you just throw the clothes in and press start. I do wish there was a time remaining indicator but understand why it's not included for the price. It doesn't take a tremendously long time to wash, depending on settings. The washer doesn't get stuck in the sensing mode for me as others have indicated a problem with that. Once the washer did have a few long minutes sensing but it was a bulky load of throw rugs- so I didn't begrudge the washer's confusion. Washing a regular medium fabric weight large load takes altogether about 30 minutes to an hour. A bulky load can take up to an hour longer. But you're washing about two regular loads of clothes at once so who cares.
The washer doesn't stink- I make a habit of leaving the lid open after each wash- no problems. This washer doesn't spin as fast as costlier front loaders but it spins faster than a traditional model. The results are clothes that aren't twisted up like a front loaders and the clothes aren't dripping wet. Overall, I love this washer and am very thankful for it. I would recommend it to anyone in the market for a top loader.
I use the washer all day long- I have a large messy family of six and several pets! It gets all the stains out and I don't even have to use bleach or detergent boosters anymore :) oh- and Best Buy was great with delivery and set up!!! Free delivery, set up and take away saves money and is great customer service!

do any of your top loading washers allow you to manually select the wather level?

This washer senses the water level. If you need more water, select the bulky item setting.

my washer seems toonly wash gentle does it ever agitate firmly or fast

The washer doesn't make crazy agitating sounds. As long as your clothes are coming out clean the washer is doing what it's supposed to.

Is a buzzing noise normal during the Wash phase?

My washer was just delivered today. I am running the recommended cleaning cycle and there is a rather loud buzzing sound about once per second. It might be the washplate turning. Since the lid locks I have no way to look inside and see if it is operating correctly. Is it supposed to be so loud? I live in a condo and I suspect my next door and upstairs neighbors can hear it.
There are many different sounds the machine makes. You'll get used to them after about a week. They sounded really loud to me at first too, but after I got used to them they were unnoticeable. They're normal- in the manual it tells you to expect some unusual sounds :) I was suspicious at first- but the machine has done a great job cleaning for me.

why does the product info page say 4.3 Cu under Whats Included?

What's Included
•Whirlpool 4.3 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle High-Efficiency Washer
•Owner's manual

is this a Whirlpool 3.6 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle High-Efficiency Washer or 4.3 Cu. please adjust your site!
The washer is 3.6 cubic feet. Not sure why it says that. The washer is still larger inside than a traditional 3.6 because there's no agitator running up the center. You can fit a lot of clothes in this machine- a full load is very large.

IS THE WATER PRESSURE LOW ON THIS MODEL

I'm not sure what you're asking- I don't think water pressure cleans the clothes- but the motion of the agitator (the small agitator on the bottom of the basket) and the spinning motion of the basket. The clothes come out very clean.
