Finally a movie the entire family enjoyed. Even our teenager enjoyed it. Sweet but not saccharine. Humor for the young and old alike.
What's great about it: Fun movie for all ages

Sometimes Shocking but Lots of Fun

If you've never seen the series on cable you may be shocked at times. I had tried to watch when the series was on cable but its not exactly entertainment for the entire family so its great to have the DVDs to watch after the kids are in bed. Although I've already seen most of the episodes before, I really enjoy watching them over again. The writing is fun and I love the fashions!

Gruesom

Gruesom movie with a gruesom theme. I watched with my teen son. He liked it but I though it was pointless with a lot of gratuitous violence although it wasn't as gruesom as some of the current horrer flicks out. The movie made a feeble attempt to make the viewer think "is this entertainment?" but I think the message will be lost on the movies target audience.
What's great about it: Lots of Action
What's not so great: Sick (not in a good way)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Light on plot but lots of action

I'll admit I'm not a huge action movie fan but I like movies that explore how changing one action changes future outcomes. I am a fan of Nicholas Cage so when I saw the previews I really wanted to see the movie but was disappointed with the plot that seemed to suffer in deference to more action scenes. There were what I considered huge holes in plot and the ending left one saying "What?!??" at the end of the movie. I think that was the point but it was disappointing.
What's great about it: Interesting concept
What's not so great: Lots of holes in plot
