A Must Have for a Complex System

If you have a complex home entertainment system (multiple source devices, many different inputs on your TV, stereo, etc.), then this is a must have. It's much easier to program than its predecessors (although still not exactly FUN to program), and once you have it setup, it's very easy to use. Even when my parents come to visit, they are able to do anything they need (watch TV, watch a movie on my media server, watch Netflix on the XBox) without any trouble.

Won't Last Forever, But Works Great

I've owned probably half a dozen of these mounts over the years. Sitting in the Florida sun for long periods (a couple years) eventually makes the plastic brittle and they start to crack and not work so well. But for the price, I still feel like I get GREAT value out of them with them lasting a couple years. That's why I keep buying them. I especially love how easily they can be positioned to fit any car. I take them on the road with me when I travel for work, and am yet to find a rental car that I can't put this in in a great position.

The cable connecting this hub to the PC is a bit on the short side...makes it a little difficult to position out of the way of a mouse if your only USB ports are on the right side of a laptop. But otherwise, no complaints. It works just as it should.

Does the Job

It's hard to really "wow" a customer with a USB hub; the goal is for it to work so well that the user forgets it's there...until they need to plug something in. That's exactly what this does. I plugged it in and it just worked. And since then, it's kept on "just working". Not a problem to be had.
