We needed a new vacuum and when you live in a 3-story dwelling, you don't want something heavy and bulky! This really fit the bill and is powerful enough to handle anything. Some people raised a concern about having to hold down the trigger to activate the suction, but for now, it's not a big deal. We haven't had any issues with it running out of charge after cleaning all 3 floors (we don't have carpet everywhere) and cleaning it is easy.

If you've played Mario Kart before, you know you've got to get the newest version. If you haven't played Mario Kart before, you owe it to yourself to try it. Nintendo once again nails the formula giving gamers of all levels what they want: Beginners and kids can play easy levels that are full of colors and cute characters while seasoned veterans can be as competitive as they want, tweaking their karts to get the best advantages. Great game in short stints or long ones!

I was looking around for a high-quality, high res MP3/FLAC player for a long time. I didn't want to go with one of the many Chinese brands out there because of different issues - nor did I want to spend an arm and a leg on some of the uber-high-end ones.
I've always been a Sony fan, but I'll be honest, it's been awhile since they've done some real innovation. I think this compact player is definitely a worthy product! Not only is it slim and super-compact, it plays with enough power to drive my Audeze LCD-X! Sure those are lower impedance than the LCD-1/2/3, but still, they sound great! Additionally, when I'm looking for convenience over quality, I can pair them with my Sony BT headphones via NFC and do work around the house.
Yes, there's a proprietary charging/sync cable, but at least you don't need music management software (remember their ATRAC days??) - I think you might need to use it for album art, but I didn't care about that. I have my stuff well-organized/labeled/tagged in folders and just copied my "essential collection" to the internal storage, while my trance collection (to be sorted through) is on the microSD card.
I can't say enough good things about this player! Get it!

I wanted a better solution than a bright clock or waking up a phone/tablet to see the time at night and this did it!
The unit itself is of classic Sony design with a clean aesthetic that isn't too shy to add buttons where needed.
Let's cut to the chase - this is not a wifi/BlueTooth "smart" clock. It has a radio (yeah look it up) that I've never used. The primary use is the swiveling projector that can display the time on a nearby ceiling or wall. A simple adjustment of focus (or angle - it can be flipped all the way around in 90-degree increments) and now you've got a large, visible clock (in red, which won't screw up your night vision or circadian rhythm) on your ceiling or wall!
My wife needs corrective lenses so "normal" alarm clocks weren't big enough (or too bright) and tablet/phone required rolling over or finding it then waking it (too bright - too much activity to try and stay asleep).
This solution knocked it out of the park! It's simple, but works great - and sometimes, that's enough!

I've got two of these outdoors (covered receptacles) and three indoors and I use timers/scenes to control them. Great when you're traveling and want to keep the impression that someone's home!

Cheapest way to get started w/smart lights!

I wanted to add on another two Hue lights and figured that this was a bulb + switch! If you don't already have a Philips Hue hub/bridge, you can use this switch as the dimmer and on/off since it's already paired.
However, if you do have a hub/bridge (like me) already, you can add this switch to your system and have an additional wireless switch that you can put anywhere! The base of the switch has magnets so we've currently got it on the fridge out of the reach of the baby!
The bulbs are standard Philips Hue white/dimmable bulbs and work great. Just add them to your system and/or scenes and you're ready to go.

I travel a lot and I wanted some smart bulbs to make my house look occupied. I have a decent investment in Zwave stuff, but their bulb/sockets haven't been keeping up with the times. I was hesitant to add another system to the house, but this was dead-simple and the programming was easy. I like the "randomization" of the off times as well (within a 30 minute range) so it doesn't look like I'm on a set schedule.
Bright, clean light and a good starter kit. I can definitely see myself getting more.
