Belkin has always been a reliable brand. My previous router died after many years of faithful service - and I needed one right away. Since I am streaming a lot of multimedia throughout the house to various devices I chose this particular one. So far it has been great! It has performed very well. It is also customizable for beginners/non-techies or the tech savvy - depending on how you want to set it up. It is a little more expensive than I would have liked, but it is a reliable brand.
