This bluetooth speaker works just fine for it's size. It is not so loud and clear as I might expect on a bigger unit(so 4 stars). I use it mostly with my Kindle Fires. The bluetooth was pretty easy to set up. I have also used the patch cord to play direct to save the batteries a bit. I have not really tried it with music, but the books are fine.

I have been pleased with this radio. With digital tuning, it really homes in the stations and rejects close frequencies. It is not the strongest at getting signals that are a bit farther away. Great for close-by stations.

does this ''lock'' onto fm stations ?
I would like to use this on my morning public transit (bus) commute.
Will this radio lock on to the station while moving rapidly?
( i ask because other small portables loose the signal at speed)

It has digital tuning, so it does a good job at locking into stations. It rejects other stations much better than the Sony analog tuner radio. I have not tried it on a bus, however.

Is Volume control digital or analog/rotary?
It is is a rotary, analog volume control. The tuning is digital.

No speaker. It uses headphones or earbuds.

Does this radio operate only on batteries or can radio be connected to a standard electric wall outlet?
It requires a AAA battery. It cannot connect to a wall outlet.

DOES IT HAVE A "HOLD" BUTTON?
A HOLD FUNCTION PREVENTS ACCIDENTAL CHANGING OF STATION.
The hold button is on the top of the radio. It prevents changing station, band, or power on/off. One can still change the volume.
