I've been trying to collect some of the old classic movies to fill in some spots in my collection. This is one of the best so I have no doubt I'll like it. I know there is a bigger collection with a lot of semi-interesting extras, but since I've never seen the movie before, I couldn't justify the extra money. But it's all good.

I had wanted to see this movie so bad. And I'm happy to report that it lived up to the hype. It's the best Star Wars movie since the originals in the 70s and 80s. Though, I would have given the cgi a bit more realistic stop motion quality. The AT-ATs were a bit too fluid moving to me. The steelbook for the movie is great, though I would have chosen a different picture for the cover.

This is one of those movies that you'll pop in every now and then but doesn't really stick with you that much. I couldn't tell you any of the lines or plots of the movie.
It's not a bad movie by any means. It's just....there. If you're a Tom Hanks fan, you'll probably like this movie. For me, it just....exists.

I don't know why, but I've loved this movie since I was a kid. Maybe it's because it's odd seeing Michael Keaton in a comedy. When you say "Michael Keaton", I automatically think of Batman.
This isn't the best movie in the world, but it's really cheesy 80s fun.

People in over their heads isn't funny...in real life. But for some reason, watching everything go wrong for Tom Hanks in this movie is just hilarious. This movie doesn't get talked about nearly enough. And you think it would, seeing as how Tom Hank was one of the biggest stars in the world at one time.
His dramas just never set right with me. To me, his comedies are MUCH better. There's enough pain and suffering in real life. I don't want it in my entertainment.
Never saw this movie in widescreen before. A LOT of fun.
