I needed a case for my Slate--this is a great size and fun style. I wanted a case with a shoulder strap as I'm usually carrying several items. Once when my hands were full, the shoulder strap hook released on its own and I barely keep it from hitting the ground. So far, that's only happened one time.

I had no idea until recently that the experts recommend replacing these hoses at least every 5 years! Based on that fact, it made sense to spend a few more dollars and purchase stainless steel hoses.

I really like this dryer! It has an air flow sensor which warns you if there's a a build-up of lint in your vent. I originally thought I had a faulty sensor because I had my dryer vent cleaned 18 months ago. However, I did have it cleaned again just so I would know if it was a sensor problem or not. Turns out I did have a build-up again. Score one for the machine! The only (minor) concern: when the timer showed it only had a minute left to the end of the drying time--it actually last several minutes. Only a minor issue and only when I'm waiting to leave the house. I love the color!

What's not so great: Approximate time left in the drying cycle is not always accurate.

I've only had this washer for 2 months so it's a little early to comment on overall reliability. It is doing a great job getting everything clean and it doesn't twist my clothes as tightly as my old machine which helps to reduce wrinkles during drying. It's also very quiet. I love the color!

What's not so great: Doesn't have a "quick" cycle with the ability to choose water, spin options.
