The problem I had was that Hulu would go to a super sized screen so only a part of the program was able to be seen. Tried different screen adjustments to no avail. Other than Hulu it worked fine.

No. There has to be some ink in the color cartridge. I tried to do this. I know the older HP printers would allow this. One good this though is that you can set the printer to print black ink only unlike some other printers.
