Wireless Devices
Can you connect to this hard drive with wireless devices in the house? It would be a part of the home network.
This is not a NAS device, just an external drive. You would have to connect it to something that could share it. Or you could connect it to a computer on the network and share the drive.

Is this Windows 10 certified?
I have an old computer (WinXP) that I need storage for NOW, & anticipate upgrading in the near future. I see that this is WinXP compatible, and others in its series are noted as Win10 certified, but this one isn't listed. Anyone know if it's Win 10 certified?
Not sure if it's "certified", but I'm using it on Win10 and it works just fine.

Transfer limits
My 1 TB WD ext. hard drive limits on transferring files specifically movies - nothing over 4 GB transfers due to size according to the pop-up message. Does this hard drive limit what you can transfer to it? If anyone has any suggestions on where to check in settings on Windows 8.1 I would also greatly appreciate it since I've looked & didn't find anything indicating limit.
Make sure it's formatted as NTFS. FAT has a file size limitation of 4GB.

can this be used with an older television
is it both plug in and wireless
It is wired only. One wire connects to your xbox, the other to your controller (if you're using the chat feature).
