Season 6 of Parks and Recreation finds Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) forced to make the toughest, most-unpopular decision of her political career: merging Pawnee with its hated rival town of Eagleton. The blowback from this choice causes Leslie to be removed from her position as city councilwoman, leaving her rudderless and unsure about her future. The show also deals with another major shake-up this year, as longtime cast members Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones depart halfway through (their characters move to another town to raise their new baby).
