This was purchased so I wouldn't have to pay the modem lease fee from TWC. This unit was on the TWC list. Wireless router and modem. Set up was easy. Kept my old router connected until TWC authorized this new one. Walk in the park. Better security than the old and a "guset" account for when the kids have friends over so. Love it and, it's going to pay for itself in less than a year.

is this a different wifi network or does it just increase the signal strength?
Will you be able to hook up your devises to the current wifi network or will you have to select the wifi booster as the wifi network? Will this create another wifi network?
It is an "EXTENSION" of your current wireless network. Once recognized you will connect top the EXT conncetion. It LOOKS like a different netowrk but it is not.
