I had the old Flip speaker which lasted almost 4 years, got this one as a replacement. It has better sound at lower volumes, just slightly worse at high volume, as the sound baffles in the ends interfere a tiny bit as they get moving strongly. Overall extremely good sound.

This cable plus the audio one are all needed to have my 39" HDTV perform the duty of a very good monitor screen for my computer, along with the 42" TV I was already using, both as a single extended display. HUGE room for open windows, easy to see and use.
