I purchased this tuner because I got it for a solid price and am always looking for ways to cut the cable cord and incorporate that technology into my entertainment center. This adapter answered that call and worked out of the box, but signal can vary based on location to broadcasting towers. Microsoft was supposed to add free DVR functionality to Xbox one which would have made this adapter even better but they have recently started they are not going that route anymore which is a huge miss for them. If you want free TV streamed through your Xbox one then this is a must!

I saw previews for Book of Life in theaters and thought it looked different and fresh. I was still reluctant to see if because it's not from the other major Animation studio. So before buying the blu ray I watched and read many reviews that absolutely praised this movie so, I took a chance. After watching it, I was definitely a believer in the movie and thought it was well done. The animation is sharp and colorful on blu rays and helps keep you engaged in the story. A very cool movie to share with the fam!

I find that buying a year subscription to xbox live seems to be the easiest way to go to use their online services. If you catch a decent sale you will pay considerably less that if you were going month to month.

Great upgrade on blu ray

I love the Shrek franchise and think they were a great spin on classic fairy tales. I didn't have kids when they came out but that didn't stop me from watching them because the humor was geared towards adults and it was a bit more edgy than your standard Disney movies. I owned them all on DVD but wanted to upgrade and this set is totally worth the money. The only negative I have is that they don't have digital copies and a few weeks after I purchased this set a new set came out with digital copies and a much smaller packaging.

I was a teenager when Twin Peaks was airing on TV so I watched it but not religiously because I liked David Lynch. It wasn't until years later that I watched the entire series all the way through on Netflix. Needless to say I really enjoyed it but it left me wanting more answers. When I saw this set was coming out I waited for reviews and for the price to come down. I'm sure glad I did because the studio did a tremendous job restoring this show and movie. It is a definite upgrade over the streaming content that is available. It has everything any Twin Peaks fan would want and a must own for your collection.

There are a few important things I need to say before you crack into my insanely sweet game. (You might want to sit down for this!). I'm a mercenary with an accelerated healing factor. I was waiting for the right price to pick up deadpool since it is basically a port of the 360 version. I have many friends who recommended this game to me simply because it was fun and hilarious. They were not kidding when they said that because this game had me cracking up throughout. It is not the prettiest game or the most technical but where it lacks in those areas it makes up for it in the fun value. If you like hack and slash games and the merc with a mouth be sure to check out deadpool!

Alexa is just Cool

I went back and forth for quite some time about purchasing the Echo. I watched many YouTube videos and reviews as well as reading a lot about the product itself. I finally caught it on sale and used to gift cards to buy it despite protests from my wife.
I have to say Alexa is pretty intuitive and has no issues recognizing my voice. There are times when you have to word a sentence specifically but that is just a minor annoyance. Amazon has done a great job updating the Echo weekly and adding relevant skills such as package tracking and even flight status. I use it mostly for news, weather, shopping lists, reminders, movie times, timers, and occasionally some music.
If you have any smart appliances then controlling them with Alexa is really cool. I only have a smart plug right now but it is great to walk in to a dark room and just ask Alexa to turn the light on or when you are about to go to bed and do not want to walk in the dark, just ask Alexa to turn the light off once u are there. As long as it is a reasonable distance of course. I admit it is a bit pricey so one should really look at their possible uses because I could see the novelty wearing off for some but for me it is a keeper.
