Awesome Sequel

I enjoyed this long awaited sequel. It was great to see the characters again. They were well written and acted like themselves. An A+ in my book. I hate watching sequels where the characters do things that they would not normally do, but writers do that so that it will be a "cool" scene.

John Carpenter's low-key science fiction drama Starman comes to DVD with a pair of images. The widescreen transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1 and is preferable to the standard full-frame 1.33:1 image. English, Spanish, and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. Subtitles are accessible in all three of those languages as well. Supplemental materials are limited to theatrical trailers. The highlight of the film -- Jeff Bridges' performance -- works just as well on the small screen as it did in theaters. Considering the quality of the picture and sound and the affordable list price, this is not a bad DVD for the money.

This movie is fantastic and i really wanted to own this. I bought this on DVD cause it said wide screen and pan & scan (full screen) version. When i got it, it was full screen ONLY so i returned it and turned to ebay.

I don't know but i couldn't get it into this movie again. It was well written and the actors are great, it might be the barrage of religious horror movies i have seen since that has made me numb to them. Since i now own it, i will try rewatching it a few months and hope for the best.

I remember seeing this at the rental store but never pulling the trigger and hearing about alot recently so i bought it. It reminded me of Mad Max meets Escape from NY. The last act just fell flat or maybe rushed. Overall I enjoyed it, better that most movies i see.

I remember renting this when i was a kid and loving it. I bought it and it was horrible. The main character is so annoying. According to the director hes an actor that marches to the beat of his own drum and it shows. He is unwatchable. If not for him the movie would be another fun 80's horror flick.

I really enjoyed Curse of Chucky so i was really wanted to watch this. I thought it was a great movie especially being the 7th in the series. I can't really buy the plot twist in it, i think it really dumb, but every movie has a part you hate.

In this campy chiller, a college couple, in 1959, see an object plummet to Earth like a meteor. The boy accidentally swallows a space-slug that shoots out. In 1986, two freshmen roam the campus and stumble across the corpse of the boy who swallowed the space-slug. Once thawed out, the corpse comes to life.
