When i saw the trailer for this movie I thought it was going to be just like the 2013 game of the same name. There are some similarities but I am glad they didn't go with that plot because if the movie was terrible most TR fans would have complained about another badly done video game movie.
This was a very good movie and a good way for the franchise to start fresh. Alicia Vakander plays a great young Lara Croft who is struggling with who she is and her Fathers Legacy. The movie left me wanting more and at the end but I believe that's what the studio wanted to see if there will be a sequel.
If you are looking for a fresh take on Tomb Raider after seeing the Angelina Jolie version this will be a good purchase. But wait for it to drop in price.

not to be confused with the other series of Lego Batman movies based on the video games. This is a somewhat sequel to The Lego Movie and it isn't well deserved. This is a great movie for kids and adults alike. I have watched 3 times since purchasing.

The most electrifying man in sports entertainment does an amazing job in this future Disney classic, from the opening frame to the last shot this was a great movie for kids and adults, Dwayne Johnson had my wife singing the song "Your Welcome" days after we watched this movie.
This is a movie that will become a classic and had a great story of friendship and belief.

Justice League Dark is a new entry in the DCAU and I have to say this is a great one. Dealing with the supernatural side of the hero universe the league calls in some of the lesser known but magical heroes to help out with a new threat, I loved this film and was excited to see Zatanna and Constantine team up with Swamp Thing.
This movie is not for the kiddies as it is rated R and it deserves it. Plus you get a sneak preview of the next DCAU which is Teen Titans: The Judah's Contract

Romancing the stone was a a lot of fun but you could tell it takes some of it's cues from Raiders of the lost Ark. Michael Douglas was very funny in this role a which was a switch from some of the dramatic roles he took and would be known for in his career.
Jewel of the Nile received a lot of hype leading up to it but failed to deliver the fun of the sequel, but overall if you are a fan of these films this is a great collection for a cool price.

In anticipation of the next adventure of Professor Langdon, I picked up this up to catch up on Davinci/A&D and was not disappointed. And for a great price of $9.99 it couldn't be beat.
Davinci code was a great mystery but Angels & Demons had more action this was very true of the novels which spawned an entire genre called Historical fiction. Pick this up when you have a chance for the great price and it has tons of extras to explore more of the story behind the mystery.

One of Tina Feys best performances

Based on actual events this was one of Tina Feys best performances along with "This is where I leave you" the cast was great and the story well written and Martin Freeman gives an amazing performance as Tina's love interest.

I have to say I thought this was going to be a buddy movie along the lines of Ride Along but I was sooooo wrong. Kevin Hart plays the straight man to Dwayne Johnsons comedic side and the results are hilarious.
If they make a sequel sign me up for the ride.

A horror movie classic

The sequel to one of the greatest horror movies ever made still holds up after all these years, the movie picks up right after the last scene in the first Halloween as Michael Myers continues to terrorize his home town on All Hallows' Eve. The setting shifts from the town to the hospital were Jamie Lee Curtis character is being held and the body count continues to climb. There were many sequels that came after this one and I will say you can skip them all accept for Halloween 20(or H20 as it is called)
This movie set the tone for a lot of the slash and gore of other horror franchises that came later. Even the remakes by Rob Zombie don't hold a candle to the original and this sequel.
Be warned you will never listen to the song "Mr. Sandman" by The Chordettes with innocence ever again.
