Good photo frame does the job

This digital photo frame works as expected. Images are good quality and the frame works well using a memory card. I have several hundred images stored in two separate folders and the frame gives a random slideshow from both folders (or you can select just one folder if desired). There are many features that I haven't even tried yet. The stand works fine if you just follow the instructions and click it into place firmly.

Audio splitter does the job

This reasonably priced audio splitter worked without issue. I am using it to direct audio signal from an MP3 music player to two pairs of powered speakers. The system fills a small size building (cat shelter) with good quality sound at very low cost. The cats and humans love it.

I acquired two pairs of the Logitech Z130 speakers to use with an MP3 music player in a Humane Society cat shelter. A pair of speakers at each end of the shelter provide clean sound with good frequency response including substantial bass. Very good low cost earbuds

The JVC earbuds are exactly what I was looking for. They sit perfectly and comfortably in the outer ear. I can't stand the earbuds with the soft rubber tips that stick into the ear canal. They feel awful, never stay put and have terrible bass. The bass on the JVC earbuds is great and the price can't be beat! I may get another pair as a backup because when these die I will want the exact same thng for a replacement.

Swiss Army Office Suite

I will never use even a fraction of what this office suite offers. Office 365 installed quickly and without any issues on my new Windows 10 laptop. I am using Outlook, Word and Excel so far and intend to use Publisher, PowerPoint, OneNote and OneDrive when I can find time to acquaint myself with their main features. I’m not sure if I will ever find a use for Access.
My main complaint with Microsoft Office products is that, because they are so complex, it can sometimes be quite difficult to find what I consider to be very basic functions or settings. They always seem to be buried in the most unlikely places in the applications and I am left wondering why Microsoft decided it was necessary to hide them so deviously! But Microsoft has the de facto office suite and I will have to put up with the convoluted nature of the products.

A pleasure to use

The HP Envy 17.3 inch laptop satisfies all of my requirements for a laptop. Windows 10 responds quickly, browsing is fast, the Wi-Fi network connection is trouble-free and the keyboard is nice. The Intel processor is only dual-core but this laptop runs much cooler than a quad-core. The large 17.3 inch touchscreen is very clear and I also output via HDMI to a 24 inch monitor. All of the ports, including 4 USB, are located near the back of the laptop thus minimizing cable clutter. I have no issues with the touchscreen or the touchpad although I prefer using my Logitech wireless mouse for the majority of screen navigation. The DVD/CD drive functions well and so far I have ripped over 70 hours of CD music to the hard drive.
The only mild annoyance I have is with the barely audible noise from the hard drive when data is being accessed. At first I thought it was random electrical noise through the speakers, but the high frequency ‘ticking’ sound is definitely from the hard drive. I must admit my ears are very sensitive to higher frequencies and this laptop is essentially silent when I compare it to the horrendously loud fan noise from my old desktop.
Overall I am quite happy with my HP Envy laptop and, if given a choice, I would pick this model again.

The Logitech Marathon Mouse M705 is beautifully designed and executed. It fits my hand perfectly and my fingers fall naturally on all of the control surfaces. Browsing is a joy as this mouse gives me full control, including the very nice free floating vertical scroll feature. The tiny USB receiver and the powerful control application are bulletproof.
