The Chromecast is great. Setup was simple. Hooked it right up to my system and its all but plug and play, just connect it to wi Fi. I use the ESPN app and watch soccer and my girlfriend regularly watch Netflix off of it too. I've never had a problem!

Easy set up and great functionality

This security system seems to have been a great choice. It was simple to set up, and came with enough equipment to get you started. I also purchased two of the smart video cameras, putting one at each doorway. This way I can keep an eye on my house in the country, and not have to worry. The app is pretty intuitive. They seem to be updating it fairly often, which is reassuring, and let me know that there will continue to be advances. I can look around the house on my cameras, controlling them from my phone. It's also neat that you can add more contact sensors, cameras, or even motion detectors. Overall, I am pretty satisfied, and do not regret my purchase.

Great Function and Ease of use

When I was looking for a home security system, I wanted something that was fairly inexpensive, easy to use, and had no monthly charge. The iSmart camera adds an element that I love to an already great system. The streaming video cues up quickly on my phone, even when I am in not great areas of reception. Installation was fairly simple. Overall, I couldn't complain, as the video quality is good, the app is intuitive, and you can actually scan around the room with the camera, which is a feature you don't get it with some more expensive cameras.

how do I hook up my tablet to chrom cast
Just connect your tablet to the same network as your ChromeCast is on, then in the apps use the Chromecast button. You should see it in the top right of the YouTube app when playing a video, it looks like a rectangle with reception waves coming out of it.

Will this work without connecting to a laptop? In other words, can i simply put it into my tv and use it? I do have wifi.
I never connected mine to a laptop, just use my iPhone and hit the chromecast button in the YouTube, ESPN, or Netflix app.

Is it compatible with Netgear router R6400?
And long as the router broadcasts Wi Fi, yes. Super simple setup.
