I've given up trying to get the Epson WORKFORCE printer to print anything but black and white. This cartridge is the best deal and still expensive at that.
Epson ink is too expensive and does not last nearly as long as my old HP did.

poor print quality and short life

There are few things I really like about this printer/cartridge ensemble.
First and foremost the quality of the image prints including pictures and charts etc. is very very low. Streaking and faded colors, colors that are in no way true to the screen. Forget trying to print a photograph. Don't tell me to clean the heads or run the utility. I do that again and again. It speeds up the waste of ink.
These cartridges do not last and they are expensive compared to every other brand. Do not buy the four cartridge package. For some reason it is a better deal to buy the three and an extra capacity black.
I actually should have taken this back and gotten something else because the WORKFORCE Printer itself has new issues that come up virtually every time I have a print run.

I was looking for an evaporation/wick humidifier in a market that is saturated with ultrasonics. Ultrasound models leave. Fine white powder everywhere due to my hard water and I'll be damned if I will buy water to humidify my bedroom. So this fills the bill. It holds plenty of water and has humidynand fan speed alternatives. The tank lasts a full day when the furnace is running full on.
On the negative side the tank is kind of absurdly designed. The handle is part of the stopper somwhen you're filling it there is nothing to hold. The stopper is replaced and the filled tank is then inverted and tilted and tipped into the bottom housing. It's stylish but not that well engineered. The fan is NOT QUIET. It's not that bad on its lowest setting but it is NOT quiet by any measure. A noisy fan siggests low durability to me.
A few years ago I bought a Holmes cool mist humidifier for about $30 or less. Frankly this machine has no great advantage over that machine although it does put more H2O into the air.
So I'm okay with this purchase but I can't recommend.

First and formost this printer gets the job done printing text documents, two sided documents quickly and cleanly. Print quality is excellent on these pages.
It loads plenty of paper and appears to squeeze a lot of pages out of the ink cartridges.
Photo printing is poor. Simple as that. What you see on your screen you will NOT see on the print. Colors muted, generally washed out appearance. No amount of adjustment fixes the poor quality.
The communication between the printer and the computer is nearly always lost between specific print jobs requiring me to pause and restart or cancel and reprint or even turn the printer off and on to reestablish the connection. And yes the WiFi network is strong and consistent.

Installation was a problem. It just would not install. I'm running a Mac. Eventually had to make the call to Epson which walked me through an uninstall, manual reinstall with several power downs during the process. Frankly it never really installed completely as evidenced by previous comments but I settled so I could print my documents for class.

I bought this for my daughter who, like all my grown kids, refuses to subscribe to cable. Apple TV fills the need to access just about every video service without paying for cable. It sets itself up on the wi-fi running Mac computer.
I really don't know why you need the more expensive models which have storage for downloads unless you have frequent Internet interruptions and slowdowns.

These are very good headphones. Syncing with any Bluetooth device is seamless and dependable. Battery life is exceptional. Sound is full and pretty rich. For me it was a choice between the convenience of these wireless phones and the quality sound of noise canceling phones. Ther is a trade off but it is not too big.

What is the quality of photo prints & is this "quick dry" ink?
Wanting to use this to primarily print photos so wanted to know if they come out crisp and clear on glossy paper. Also want to know if this is "quick dry" ink?
Lousy. Sorry but the photo quality is terrible. Colors are just plain wrong, faded, muted.

print colors
I have workforce 30 that is wearing out, I love the colors it prints, I purchased an Epson stylus printer and even though it uses the durabrite ink the colors don't print the same color as the workforce, reds were more pink yellows more pale and brown, colors just were not as vivid and were different shades, can anyone tell me if they had an older workforce printer they replaced with one of these or any other new wf model printer and if the colors print the same as the older workforce models. I need the printer to print the same shades of colors as my wf 30 prints.
I have the exact same problem with this printer printing photos. Faded overall, muted colors. Blue skies appear grey, red hair appears brown. Actually it works a little better printing from my iPad but not using the AirPrint utility. It requires that I use Epson's print application and that I turn the printer "on" manually.

Does this printer work with an iMac OS 10.7.5?
I had a terrible time installing this printer running the latest Mac OS. Ended up having to call Epson. Even today this printer continually loses communication with the computer over the wireless network requiring a lot of restarts, turning the printer off and on and pausing the print job to restart.
